FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Unfazed?

Unfazed is an online platform that connects you with licensed clinicians for anxiety and depression treatment. If clinically appropriate, your clinician will prescribe medication that is shipped directly to you. The entire process — from intake to prescription — happens online in under 24 hours.

Who is Unfazed for?

Unfazed is built for high performers — athletes, executives, founders, and anyone who wants effective mental health treatment without waiting rooms, referrals, or lengthy appointment pipelines. If you are 18 or older and a US resident experiencing anxiety or depression, Unfazed may be right for you.

What medications are available?

Unfazed clinicians can prescribe non-controlled medications for anxiety and depression including: sertraline (Zoloft), escitalopram (Lexapro), bupropion (Wellbutrin), duloxetine (Cymbalta), buspirone, hydroxyzine, and trazodone. All medications are available in generic form at low cost. Unfazed does not prescribe controlled substances including stimulants, benzodiazepines, or opioids.

Is treatment guaranteed?

No. All prescribing decisions are made by your treating clinician based on their independent clinical judgment. If your clinician determines that medication is not appropriate for you, you will be notified and your subscription fee for that month will be refunded.

How long does it take?

After completing your intake, a licensed clinician will review it within 24 hours. If medication is prescribed, it will be sent to your preferred pharmacy or shipped directly to you. Most patients receive their first prescription within 48 hours of signing up.

How much does it cost?

Unfazed costs $99 per month. This covers your clinician consultation, ongoing check-ins, and platform access. Medication costs are separate — most generic medications cost $10–$30 per month at standard pharmacies.

Does Unfazed take insurance?

Unfazed is a cash-pay service and does not bill insurance directly. Your subscription fee is not reimbursable through most insurance plans. However, your prescription medications may be covered by your insurance plan at your pharmacy.

Is my information private?

Yes. Your health information is protected under HIPAA. We use encrypted, HIPAA-compliant systems to store and transmit your data. We do not sell your health information. See our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice for full details.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not charge cancellation fees.

What if I'm in crisis?

Unfazed is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or in immediate danger: call 911, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

What states does Unfazed operate in?

Unfazed is currently available in all 50 states. We are expanding to additional states on an ongoing basis.

How is this different from therapy?

Unfazed is a medication management service, not a therapy platform. Our clinicians assess and prescribe, they do not provide talk therapy. If you are looking for therapy, we recommend seeking a licensed therapist or counsellor in your area.
