Please read this document carefully. By using Unfazed, you consent to receiving healthcare services via telehealth.
What is Telehealth?
Telehealth involves the delivery of healthcare services using electronic communications, including asynchronous (non-real-time) exchange of patient information between a patient and a licensed healthcare provider. Your Unfazed consultations take place asynchronously — you submit your intake, and a licensed clinician reviews it and responds within 24 hours.
Benefits of Telehealth

- Reduced wait times compared to in-person psychiatry appointments
- Convenient access from your home or any private location
- Continuity of care for ongoing treatment
Risks and Limitations
- Telehealth services may not be appropriate for all conditions. If your clinician determines that your condition requires in-person evaluation, they will advise you accordingly.
- Technical failures could interrupt a consultation. If this occurs, contact support@getunfazed.net.
- Telehealth is not appropriate for psychiatric emergencies. Call 911 or 988 in an emergency.
- Your clinician may have limited ability to assess you compared to an in-person visit.
Your Rights
- You have the right to withhold or withdraw consent to telehealth at any time without affecting your right to future care.
- You have the right to inspect all information transmitted during a telehealth consultation.
- You have the right to receive a copy of your medical records.
Privacy and Security
All health information transmitted during your telehealth consultation is encrypted and protected in accordance with HIPAA. Your information is stored securely and will not be disclosed without your consent except as required by law.
State-Specific Disclosures
Telehealth regulations vary by state. Your treating clinician is licensed in your state of residence. If you relocate to another state, please notify us as your care may need to be transferred.
